FTO Flight School and Flight training in Rome Italy. Roma Urbe airport was found in 1928 and is located inside the city, a few minutes away from central Rome.It’s air traffic consists mainly of business, private and school aircraft whilst the excellent geographical position places it close to the international airports of Rome Ciampino and Perugia where it is possible to train in touch with airline civil aviation.
The AVIOMAR Flight Training Centre comprises of two buildings inside Roma Urbe Airport. The main headquarters include the administration offices, the flight operations and quality department as well as several briefing and planning rooms. The AVIOMAR classrooms and the Flight Simulator are located in another building. All classrooms and briefing rooms are equipped with latest generation computers, projectors, air conditioning, library and other devices.
Flight Simulator
From the outside, it appears rather dull. Inside, however, it is packed with the newest technology. Once started, it reveals its incredible performance which creates a virtual reality with such precision that it's difficult to distinguish the copy from the real thing: this is the new Alsim ALX-500.
AVIOMAR has acquired its ALX in 2010 being the first Italian FTO to operate and certify it in accordance with JAR FSTD regulations as FNPT II MCC.
