The Global Aviation Flight Academy Pilot Training Courses. Global Flight Academy (GR-FTO-002) offers integrated and modular courses for the Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) and Private Pilot (PPL) licenses as well as the Instrument (IR), Multi-Engine (MEP), Flight Instructor (FI) and Type Ratings. Starting dates for all courses are throughout the calendar year. Moreover, Global is a certified test centre for the ICAO Level 4 Aviation English Language Proficiency Test (LPT), offering exams throughout the year. Below you can find all the information you need regarding all pilot training courses as well as the ICAO Level 4 LPT.

All courses are according to the JAR-FCL (EASA Part-FCL from April 2012 onwards). Upon successful completion of any course, the student pilot is awarded the respective JAA (EASA) license by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA), a member of the JAA and EASA.

The Global Aviation Fleet

Global Flight Academy uses only the world’s most famous trainers, Piper Aircrafts. Students have a unique opportunity to train on a variety of new aircrafts, all equipped with latest technology avionics. During the initial stages of training, students fly with Piper Warriors,  the world's most famous basic single-engine trainers. The majority of the demanding instrument training is conducted on a brand-new Elite FNPT II flight simulator, where students can be pushed to their limits and exploit the full range of possibilities of simulated instrument flying. During the most advanced parts of training students fly with a Piper Archer, a more powerful single-engine trainer, perfectly suited for cross-country training.

Global Flight Academy possesses 2 multi-engine aircrafts, each suitable for particular flying training exercises. The Piper Seminole, an easy to operate, light multi-engine aircraft with glass cockpit, equipped with the latest technology for easy guidance is the ideal multi-engine trainer aircraft. Finally, the students have the chance to experience the unique flight features of the heavy multi-engine Piper Aztec. Its size, weight and retractable gear render the Aztec ideal for the final hours of the multi-engine training.
