CESDA Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Aviation Pilot and Air Operations

The aim of Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Aviation Pilot and Air Operations is to prepare future professionals responding to the needs of the job market.

The new Degree is designed to provide students the necessary competences and abilities to be capable to perform its job with the highest efficiency.

The recent creation of this official Degree represents huge achievement for the profession: pilot studies are on the same level as other official studies. This fact implies access to civil servant jobs and some other jobs related to air management where competitive examination is needed and an official Degree is required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Aviation Pilot and Air Operations is an official degree divided into 4 years course with a total amount of 240 ECTS, 12 of them concerning the final project degree.

Flight instruction
The flight instruction is a fundamental element in the correct development in the training of pilots.For this reason the centre has a modern fleet of aeroplanes to develop the distinctive phases of flying. The centre complements their training by using FNPT II and MCC type simulators.

Tutorials
The tutorials are a key tool for the development of the teaching methodology behind CESDA. They aim above all is to strengthen and enhance the communication between the student and all the CESDA personnel. In order to achieve this aim, three different types of tutorials have been established.

Teaching tutorial: they consist of teaching support during the university hours; one hour of tutorial per week for every hour that students attend class.
Academic tutorial: they provide a global orientation to the student and mark courses of action to avoid possible problems. Its basic function is to orientate the student in the process of registration, provide advice on which optional materials he or she should choose, analyse the continuous evaluation of the student and corrective measures in the planning as well as the study methodology of each student.
Aeronautical tutorials: they aim is to bring the student closer to his profession and what it means to work in this profession.

Every single one of the students will have at his/her disposal throughout his/her studies a tutor, who the student can turn to if they have any question regarding academic issues which might come up. The mentioned tutor will ensure that the student will make the most of the course.
